New V481 with Windows XP Embedded

Taipei, Taiwan, February, 1, 2008—Moxa is pleased to release the V481-XPE, the Windows XP Embedded version of the V481 embedded computer. This new Windows XP Embedded model offers programmers a powerful computing platform that makes software development and system integration more efficient.

A wide temperature version of the V481-XPE is also available, operating in temperatures from -35° to 75°C.

The Windows XP Embedded operating system has the following software features:

Development flexibility
A complete selection of drivers, services, and application components is available that help shorten overall development time.

Fully compatible with Windows XP Professional
Applications for Windows XP Professional can be ported to computers running Windows XP Embedded. This essential feature of Windows XP helps speed up application development.

Cost-effective deployment
Device components are easy to install and use, helping reduce development effort and at the lower cost.
